the meaning of sirens 2
I done even more research and I found almost the exact same thing:
- THE SEIRENES (or Sirens) were three sea nymphs who lured sailors to their death with a bewitching song. They were formerly handmaidens of the goddess Persephone. When the girl was secretly abducted by Haides, Demeter gave them the bodies of birds, and sent to assist in the search. They eventually gave up and settled on the flowery island of Anthemoessa. The Seirenes were later encountered by the Argonauts who passed by unharmed with the help of Orpheus, the poet drowing out their music with his song. Odysseus also sailed by, bound tightly to the mast, his men blocking their ears with wax. The Seirenes were so distressed to see a man hear their song and yet escape, that they threw themselves into the sea and drowned. The Seirenes were depicted as birds with either the heads, or the entire upper bodies, of women. In mosaic art they were depicted with just bird legs
- In Greek mythology, the Sirens are creatures with the head of a female and the body of a bird. They lived on an island (Sirenum scopuli; three small rocky islands) and with the irresistible charm of their song they lured mariners to their destruction on the rocks surrounding their island (Virgil V, 846; Ovid XIV, 88).The Argonauts escaped them because when he heard their song, Orpheus immediately realized the peril they were in. He took out his lyre and sang a song so clear and ringing that it drowned the sound of those lovely fatal voices. When on another journey the Odysseus' ship passed the Sirens, had the sailors stuff their ears with wax. He had himself tied to the mast for he wanted to hear their beautiful voices. The Sirens sang when they approached, their words even more enticing than the melody. They would give knowledge to every man who came to them, they said, ripe wisdom and a quickening of the spirit. Odysseys' heart ran with longing but the ropes held him and the ship quickly sailed to safer waters (Odyssey XII, 39).Homer mentions only two sirens, but later authors mention three or four. They were regarded as the daughters of Phorcys, or the storm god Achelous and either Melpone, Sterope, or Terpsichore. Libanius on the other hand relates that they were born of the blood of Achelous when he was wounded by Heracles.According to Ovid, they were nymphs and the play-mates of Persephone. They were present when she was abducted and, because they did not interfere, Demeter changed them into birds with female faces (Ovid V, 551).

the meaning of sirens
I know I am late but I was busy, so I found the meaning on http://www.mythicalcreaturesguide.com/page/Siren
I am hooked on the meaning of siren and what will happen...
I remember reading somewhere that someone said they were not sea nymphs but this proves it.
But I thought that nymphs were good like Daphne?
Here's the meaning:
In Greek mythology the Sirens or Seirenes (Greek Σειρῆνας) were Naiads (sea nymphs) who lived on an island called Sirenum scopuli, or in some different traditions, some place them on cape Pelorum others in the island of Anthemusa, and others again in the Sirenusian islands near Paestum, or in Capreae which was surrounded by cliffs and rocks. Approaching sailors were drawn to them by their enchanting singing, causing them to sail into the cliffs and drown. They were considered the daughters of Achelous or Phorcys. Homer says nothing of their number, but later writers mention both their names and number ; some state that they were two, Aglaopheme and Thelxiepeia; and others, that there were three, Peisinoe, Aglaope, and Thelxiepeia or Parthenope, Ligeia, and Leucosia. Their number is variously reported as between two and five, and their individual names as Thelxiepia/Thelxiope/Thelxinoe, Molpe, Aglaophonos/Aglaope, Pisinoe/Peisinoë, Parthenope, Ligeia, Leucosia, Raidne, and Teles. According to some versions, they were playmates of young Persephone and were changed into the monsters of lore by Demeter for failing to intervene when Persephone was abducted. The term "siren song" refers to an appeal that is hard to resist but that, if heeded, will lead to a bad result.
Within the tales of Greek Mythology there were a couple documented cases where the siren song was thwarted. The first were the Argonauts whom had Orpheus play a tune louder than they, the second was Odysseus' men who plugged their ears with beeswax. Odysseus alone volunteered to hear the song whilst tied to the ship's mast. This second escape resulted in the Siren's killing themselves out of shame. It was because of this that later writers would say the Siren's were fated to die should a person hear their song and escape unharmed.

Nick Re-using VAs
So I found on IMDB (I am looking up info for season 5!) Peter Emshwiller will not just be voicing Sky's dad but apparently a Pillar Sea Creature in Season 5...
I think it's because:
NOTE:This voice has not been confirmed so any opinion I give is not approved
I think it's because:
- Sky's dad is rarely seen
- Nick is cheap and does not want to hire an extra
- Nick is paying him so they do not want to lose extra cash

Season 5 [Update]
1.Season 5 news
2.King Erendor's appearances in season 5
2.King Erendor's appearances in season 5
2.Note to Brandeline
- I was on IMDB checking on winx club season 5 news and went to episode seven... Guess who I saw under the cast list... Will Blagrove which voices Nabu! Either the person does not know that Nabu is dead or he wakes up or something!
- King Erendor has been appearing in season 5 cast list a lot in the later episodes such as: 1.The Sun Shines Again 2.Fairies' Inspiring Eye 3.The Selkies Devourer 4.The Singing Whales 5.Love Problems And they are back to back episodes so I am thinking we will see more of King Erendor in Season 5. Note:the cast list has not been approved so this may or may not be true!
- Note to Brandeline: I think you should find Roxy's VA and ask if she is voicing Roxy in season 5. Maybe just maybe she will give a little clue to the mystery.
